 Adewale Adeleke celebrates his mum.

Adeleke was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1988, to Adedeji Adeleke and Grace Ajunwa.

He is the brother of Nigerian singer Davido. In 2010, Adeleke obtained a business administration degree from Pacific Union College.

Adeleke served as one of the executive producers on Davido’s debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo.

As one of the executive producers of the album, Davido collaborated with producers such as Jay Sleek.

The music of Omo Baba Olowo embodies afropop and afrobeat sounds, with an influence of hip hop.

The album features guest appearances from Naeto C, Sina Rambo, B-Red, Kayswitch, Ice Prince and 2 Face Idibia.

Omo Baba Olowo received generally negative reviews from music critics, who denounced its lyrical content and production.

The album won Best R&B/Pop Album and received a nomination for Album of the Year at The Headies 2013.

It was also nominated for Best Album of the Year at the 2013 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.

Adeleke was appoint executive director of his father’s Energy Company.

In celebration of 2019 Mother’s day, Adeleke shared a photo wiih his mum saying, ‘without her I’m not sure where I would have ended up in life’.’

In his words, ‘Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful intelligent hardworking mothers out there! This woman is my guardian angel without her I’m not sure where I would have ended up in life. I just want to Thank God for her, love you Mom. May God keep you for us for a long time’.
