A new Commissioner of Police, Mr Awosola Awotinde, has been posted to Abia State, while Mr Umar Muri replaced Mr Omolulu Bishi as CP in Benue State ahead of Saturday’s Governorship and state House of Assembly elections.
The Abia State Police order’s representative, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna made the revelation.
He said that the new magistrate expected obligation on Friday morning, after a formal handover.
Awotinde, who was in Ebonyi, was swapped with the previous Abia CP, Mr Eden Okon, who was additionally moved to Ebonyi.
He said that the posting was accomplished for the reasons for the races and spoke to Abia occupants to give the new police manager the “fundamental cooperation.
The adjustment in Benue’s police direction was declared by the Deputy Inspector-General of Police supervising races in the North Central,  Mr Godwin Nwobodo at a question and answer session on Friday in Makurdi.
Reports were made that the previous Benue CP went through around a half year responsible for the direction before his redeployment.
