Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro has commended the military for remaining loyal to him and defeating a “coup” led by the US and opposition leader Juan Guaidó.
During a rally, Mr Maduro likewise accused Venezuela’s broad power cuts for “cyber attacks” by the opposition.
His comments came during a day of protests in the country by pro-government and opposition groups.
In the capital Caracas, a few supporters of Mr Guaidó fought with police.
Mr Maduro has held the help of the military and close partners including Russia and China since Mr Guaidó proclaimed himself between time president on 23 January.
